13" Iznik Mediterranean Scalloped Decorative Plate This unique Turkish hand painted deep decorative plate combines traditional Iznik design elements with a modern flair. The design is evocative of the Mediterranean Sea, with a wavelike pattern around the scalloped perimeter. Flowers and geometric elements anchor the center of the plate. This unique plate makes a wonderful Mediterranean decor accent, and can also be used for serving. Please note that this ceramic decorative plate is almost 2 1/2 inches deep, so the overall shape is that of a deep plate or a shallow bowl.
Serving/Dishwasher Information: This item is food and dishwasher safe; however we recommend that if you place it in the dishwasher, you use the low heat setting to prevent small cracks from forming in the glaze. The best idea is to hand wash this piece. Please note that none of our hand painted ceramics can be placed in the oven or otherwise used for cooking!
