Description   This is a wonderful 7.25" hand painted decorative plate from Turkey. The design incorporates traditional Turkish design elements from Iznik, a city south of Istanbul known for its ceramics production during Ottoman times in the 16th and 17th century. Hand crafted and hand painted by a small workshop in Turkey. Take a closer look by clicking on the photo for a detailed view, and you'll see why the work of Turkish artists is sought after by collectors. This plate is also food safe, and can be used as a small serving piece. Dishwasher safe, but we recommend the low heat setting. Plate stand not included. Pre-drilled hole on the back makes hanging easy!
