This cheery hand painted hand painted square platter is made in a small family factory near Assisi in the Umbria region of Italy. This factory uses a special process that fires each piece one additional time (for a total of three firings instead of the usual two) with a clear coat glaze to give it an extra shiny finish. This item can be used for display or decorative purposes, and also makes a great serving piece, as it is food safe and dishwasher safe.  It was created with pre-drilled holes on the back for quick and easy hanging.
