Mexican Talavera Red Decorative Plates
These colorful hand painted ceramic plates from Mexico combine Mediterranean and native artistic influences in a bright red, primitive design. These plates works equally well for serving or decoration, and coordinate well with our other Mexican Talavera offerings--you can mix or match the patterns among different pieces.
Hanging Wall Plates: Want to hang these hand painted decorative plates on your wall? It's easy! There are pre-drilled holes in the back through which you can thread a piece of sturdy wire, twist it to make a loop, then hook the wire onto a nail or screw that has been securely mounted in the wall. (Be sure to find a stud or use a wall anchor to support heavy pieces.)
Display Stands: Our hand painted Talavera plates also look great on a mantle or table using our plate stands.

Serving/Dishwasher Information: These decorative plates are food and dishwasher safe; however we recommend that you use low heat if you put them in the dishwasher to prevent small cracks from forming in the glaze. The best idea is to hand wash these pieces. (Please note that none of our hand painted ceramics can be placed in the oven or otherwise used for cooking!) Enjoy!
