This handcrafted decorative plate from Morocco is 13 inches in diameter and adds an exotic touch to your home. As with many Moroccan plates, it has a shape that is similar to a shallow bowl, and parts of the pattern are both painted and carved into the clay, giving a unique three-dimensional effect. Hang it on a wall using the convenient pre-drilled holes on the back, or place it on a table as a striking centerpiece. This decorative plate comes from the city of Safi, a historical center of Moroccan pottery on the Atlantic coast south of Casablanca. This plate may be used for serving, but it is NOT dishwasher safe. Plate stand not included.

Please note that Moroccan pottery is made by entirely by hand and tends to be very rustic in appearance, often including numerous imperfections which do not detract from its value but add to its charm.  Moroccan designs vary from plate to plate, so your decorative plate may not look exactly like the photograph.

Mediterranean decor idea: This decorative plate looks great hanging outdoors, especially on a stone or stucco wall. Pre-drilled holes make it easy to hang!
