This is a collector quality piece that is still very affordable. Turkish ceramics are among the finest in the Mediterranean. The Turkish tradition of making pottery stretches thousands of years and reached its creative pinnacle in the 16th and 17th centuries under the rule of the Ottoman empire.
Serving/Dishwasher Information: This item is food and dishwasher safe, however we recommend that if you place it in the dishwasher, you use the low heat setting to prevent small cracks from forming in the glaze. The best idea is to hand wash this piece. Please note that none of our hand painted ceramics can be placed in the oven or otherwise used for cooking!
